TOWN Magazine

180-PAGE EVENTS GUIDE FOR LONDON

While living and working in Sydney in 2011/12, I co-wrote and co-edited TOWN Magazine for LondonTown.com. It was our first foray into publishing and the result was a slick, critically acclaimed, comprehensive 180-page events guide for London in the city's biggest year in generations: 2012. For the magazine, I wrote a series of features and articles on a range of subjects, including the bicentenary of Charles Dickens, London's sports arenas and main multi-purpose entertainment centres, the Thames AirLine cable car, London's stately homes and, of course, the London Olympics. I also wrote a raft of event previews and monthly snippets, and ghost-wrote two articles by the LondonTown head editor. Picture editing and proof reading were also huge parts of the job.
