BLAZIN' SADDLES

Ever since I saw Pedro Delgado power to victory in the 1988 Tour de France I have been an avid cycling fan. Working for Eurosport in Paris saw this passion become a profession and I have now clocked up four Tours and a handful of Giros and Vueltas as a cycling reporter. My coverage of cycling took a welcome twist in 2008 when Blazin' Saddles was born.Shortened to Saddles or (rather aptly) BS, this light-hearted and topical cycling blog started out weekly before coming out daily during the three-week Tour in July. Due to popular demand it came back bigger and better in the 2009 season, with weekly entries throughout the spring and a daily blast during the Tour and the Vuelta.

Writing as my petulant, cynical, no-holds-barred alter ego Blazin' Saddles, I've built up a huge base of fans and detractors alike - and now have 1,000+ followers on Twitter.
